All Mazoon Electricity account holders are eligible for the prepaid service except for those who come under the ‘Cost Reflected Tariff’ scheme.

The main advantages of using ‘Siraj’ is that customers can easily monitor and manage their consumption. Additionally, prepaid help consumers practice sustainable energy usage. Moreover, ‘Siraj’ is environmentally friendly since it does away with printed bills, it added.

‘Siraj’ service has been programmed in such a way that it be avilable throughout the weekdays from 4 pm to 9 am, and during the weekend from Thursday 4pm to Sunday 9am, said a company spokesman.

"Anticipating emergencies, Siraj is configured not to shut down even when the credit balance is zero. One can consume electricity until the balance in the meter reaches -RO2," he stated.
