Dubai ruler announces ICD, Meydan City boards revamp

DUBAI, August 15, 2020

In a major move, the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in his capacity as Dubai's ruler has issued a decree calling for the restructure of the boards of the emirate's sovereign wealth fund, Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD) and state-owned developer Meydan City Corporation, reported state news agency Wam.
 
As per the decree, Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum will now take over as ICD chairman, while Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum will be the new vice chairman.
 
The other members of the board include Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Abdulrahman Saleh Al Saleh, Mohammed Hadi Al Hussaini, and Helal Saeed Al Marri.
 
Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani will serve as the managing director of ICD, it added.
