Top construction consultancy Driver Trett names Oman head

MUSCAT, June 28, 2021

Driver Trett, a global construction consultancy, has promoted Jonathan Sanderson to head up its Oman office, replacing Kobus Havemann who leaves the business after 11 years of service. 
 
An industry veteran, Sanderson has over 30 years’ experience in the UK, Europe and Middle East. He has held positions at board level and has worked for main contractors, developers and consultants.
 
For the past three years, he has successfully led the claims department in Driver Trett Oman office, said the statement from the consultancy. 
 
He has an LLM in Construction Law and Arbitration, BSc in Quantity Surveying, and also holds a professional membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, it added.
 
On his promotion, Sanderson said: "I am excited to take on this role, and I look forward to building on the success of the Driver Trett's business in Oman, with the continued support of our committed and highly skilled team."
 
Sanderson, through his experience and training, has the ability to grasp a complicated situation and identify the pertinent facts quickly in order to identify the best route to be selected for the maximum benefit and securing the best outcomes for clients.
 
Lauding the appointment, David Merritt, Managing Director, and Head of Middle East & Asia Pacific said: "I am delighted that Sanderson has been appointed as our country manager in Oman. He is a first-class dispute resolution practitioner who brings a wealth of knowledge, hands-on experience, and practical know-how to the role."
