Samana unveils its first sustainable project in Dubai

DUBAI, May 25, 2023

UAE-based Samana Developers has announced the launch of its first sustainable project, Ivy Gardens, a AED350 million ($95.2 million) residential project as part of its efforts to create a built environment that is resource efficient in terms of energy, water, and materials.

Spread over a 300,000 sq ft area in Dubailand, the Ivy Gardens will feature a total of 348 apartments  with a mix of studios, one-, two-  and three-bedroom units, each with a private pool.

The project complies with the Dubai Municipality’s Green Building Regulations for creating a built environment that is resource efficient in terms of energy, water, and materials whilst reducing building-related impacts on human health and the environment throughout the building’s lifecycle, which takes into account the design, construction, operation, and waste treatment.

It is heat resistant, green, energy efficient, recycles grey water for irrigation and supports decarbonisation and hence it's an environmentally sustainable project.

Speaking at the launch, CEO Imran Farooq said: “Our construction strategy takes an Environmental and Economic approach. Environmental sustainability is maintained through design and construction with an individual focus on each element of nature to maintain sustainability."

"Economic sustainability is facilitated by taking advantage of our financing facility for buyers.” stated Farooq.

"We also facilitate investors with converting apartments into holiday-homes, free UAE Golden Visa to buyers and passing on the savings to end-user residents. All that creates economic sustainability as well as affordability and quality," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
