Axis Communications to take part in Intersec

Axis Communications, a global market leader in the network video market, will take part in Intersec 2011, the largest exhibition and conference for security and safety in the Middle East.

Held over three days in Dubai from January 16-18, the event will be a perfect showcase for Axis Communications to showcase its latest range of digital surveillance solutions. This is in line with its objective of being the driving force of network video in the Middle East to facilitate the shift from analogue to digital video surveillance, the company said.

Visitors to the Axis stand (Hall 3, Booth 415 C) in Dubai World Trade Centre will have the opportunity to see a variety of product demonstrations, information and insight into the latest technologies in video surveillance ranging from thermal imaging monitoring, easy installation, live demonstrations as well as reliable and robust solutions for outdoor use, it said.

In terms of its expanded presence at the event, Jonas Andersson, director business development, Axis Communications and chairman of steering committee, ONVIF, Sweden will be a keynote speaker.

He will be addressing attendees with a presentation focusing on the business benefits and challenges in terms of Interoperability.

We will be showcasing our latest range of digital video surveillance solutions at our booth targeting a wide variety of end users across retail,  transportation, oil and gas to name a few.”

Among the products that will be on display at Intersec will include the recently launched AXIS Q1921 and AXIS Q1921-E Thermal network cameras with  improved detection range, and the flexibility provided by lens alternatives.
