'Average age of job seekers in UAE below 30'

DUBAI, November 29, 2018

The average age of job seekers in the UAE is below 30 years for the first time in two decades, according to Nadia Global, a leading recruitment and training provider.

As the country’s population becomes more youthful, from both native and expatriate nationalities, the demand for future-facing career skills is also growing, a company statement said.

For over 35 years, Nadia Global has been preparing and educating candidates to find their dream jobs, through training and development programmes, including enhancing soft skills, applied skills and management skills, it added. This fast-tracks individual prospects into employment or helps them to upgrade their role at current employers. The training schemes provide flexibility in terms of timing, especially during holidays.

As part of this approach to provide people with skills to meet the labour demands of the UAE, Nadia Global has scheduled three main courses: Digital Marketing on 7th, 14th and 21st of December, in addition to Secretarial Skills training on 9th, 10th and 11th of December and candidates can get a course in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency, which will be on 15th and 22nd of December.

The aim of having these courses is to enable young generation candidates and job seekers to benefit from their free time and use the holiday period to kick-start their career journey and develop new skills.

Ajay Malhotra, chief executive officer of Nadia Global said: “We have been in the market for 35 years and we are the only firm in the region to provide a combination of Training, Recruitment and Human Resource consultation.”

“The Mena region has a youthful population, and the UAE has a prime opportunity to grow its economy through knowledge-based industries, particularly in research, science and technology.

“Our key mission is to contribute to the market’s needs and requirements by providing the working population, including the youth of the UAE, with suitable employment skills so that they can progress and find the latest trending jobs,” he added.

“Nadia Global is very keen that the UAE remains the most attractive destination in the region and even globally, so that people from all nationalities aspire to have a job in the region due to its security, safety, stability and business opportunities. We are proud to support the Government’s inspirational UAE Vision 2021 targets to train and recruit the best local and global talent and make the UAE an enviable knowledge-based, highly productive and competitive economy,” Malhotra concluded. – TradeArabia News Service
