Tamkeen relaunches development programmes

Based on the directives of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Bahrain's labour fund Tamkeen has relaunched its individual development programmes with an updated comprehensive platform aimed at helping job seekers, employees, students and business owners. 
 
The relaunch comes in line with the objectives of enhancing opportunities to support the private sector and is scheduled to reopen for applications starting from February 25 on Tamkeen’s online portal. 
 
The platform comes in its new version to emphasise the importance of meeting the current and future needs of labour market, especially with the latest market changes after the Covid-19 pandemic and the continuous change of the work environment with growing need of technological applications.
 
Tamkeen CEO Dr Ebrahim Mohammad Janahi said that the new training platform, in addition to the usual Tamkeen programmes in professional certifications and other skills training courses, will also include youth training, internships and training on licences and regulatory requirements. 
 
In addition to supporting professional training initiatives with partner employers to providing on the job training with the aim of enhancing the youth capabilities and equip them with the professional skills required for employment in various economic and developmental sectors.
