The Omani Society for Human Resource Management (OSHRM) will once again honour and award excellence in the field of Human Resources Management with their hosting of the prestigious 2023 OSHRM Awards.

The event will take place on February 9 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre in Muscat, Oman under the auspices of Dr Mona bint Fahad Al Said,  Assistant Vice-Chancellor for International Cooperation at Sultan Qaboos University.

The event will take the form of a glamourous gala awards ceremony, where the winners in each of the OSHRM Awards categories will be presented their prestigious OSHRM Award Title and accompanying OSHRM Awards Trophy.

The 2023 OSHRM Awards also form a final day climax to the 6th Annual OSHRM Conference, which goes ahead from February 7 – 9 at the same venue, and which will welcome a high-profile mix of HR industry leaders and representatives for a three-day schedule of workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.

Dr Ghalib Saif Al Hosni, Chairman of the OSHRM Board, said: “Exceptional Human Resource Management demands exceptional recognition. For 2023, OSHRM Jury Members will include the distinguished Dr Yasmin Al Balushi, The Project Manager of “Itimaad” program at The Royal Academy of Management, Dr Ramin Mohajer, Managing Partner at Aspire Muscat Institute, Saif AlHosni. General Manager of Microsoft Oman and Bahrain, and Dr Zahran Al-Salti, Dean of College of Banking and Financial Studies– who will collectively bring a significant depth of knowledge, acumen, and highly-regarded perspective to the awards, due to their vast experience in Human Resources fields and related industries.

2023 OSHRM “Organization” Awards
For the 2023 OSHRM “Organization” category, award titles include: “Most effective organization during the pandemic”, “Best HR initiative during the pandemic”, “High business impact by adapting data analytics during the pandemic”, and “High business impact by adapting e-learning during the pandemic”.

2023 OSHRM “Business/Professional” Awards
In the 2023 OSHRM “Business/Professional” category, award titles include: “Top people – leader”, “Effective HR professional during the pandemic”, and “Most effective CEO during the pandemic”.

2023 OSHRM “Research/Academia” Awards
Finally, for the 2023 OSHRM “Research/Academia” category, the event will honour and award the title, “Best research related to HR during the pandemic”.
