Shape Express, a women's-only boutique fitness centre in the UAE, is eyeing a wider market by offering carefully designed packages that promote healthy and balanced lifestyle.

The gym is offering flexible membership packages that fit in comfortably with the hectic lifestyles most women lead in the UAE.

The single membership allows members to sign up for three, six, or twelve months at a time.

This includes assessments, gifts, and 'freeze time', allowing them to hold their membership if they're traveling or unable to make it to the gym for a long period of time.

All members have to pay a joining fee of Dh199 ($54), which is valid for six months.

However, those who pair up and register with a family member or friend and choose the Mom & Me Membership or the Two Best Friends Membership get a 50 per cent discount on the joining fee.

Students between ages 16 and 19 have the option of taking eight prepaid sessions, which they can avail in a month’s period at their own convenience.

The ‘Fat to Fit’ and ‘Flab to Fab’ memberships are designed for women who have a specific target weight in mind.

Shape Express also caters at the corporate level, providing special rates for companies looking to ensure a fit and healthy workforce.

Their portfolio already includes companies such as Emaar Properties and Emirates Airlines.

'Women of all ages, from 9 to 90 in fact, are welcome at Shape Express.
