The United Kingdom’s leading provider of compliance services and social housing repair and maintenance has started operating in the Middle East through the establishment of Connaught Compliance Gulf Services.
CHSS Gulf, one of the region’s leading providers of health and safety training is now re-branded under this name.
David Lea, managing director of Connaught Compliance Gulf Services, said, 'Our clients will still experience high standards and have the same contacts in the company but they’ll notice a wider menu of training, reflecting the additional areas of expertise providing them with even better services than before.'
He said that Dubai Civil Engineering (DCE) has recently appointed Connaught Compliance Gulf Services for its health and safety training.
As part of DCE’s Engineering’s HSE policy, it was decided that all project directors, head of departments, project managers, construction managers and safety officers should be trained in the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Managing Safely course.
The seventh group of delegates from DCE will be undertaking this course this month.
IOSH is Europe's leading body for health and safety professionals, with nearly 33,000 members worldwide, including 13,000 Chartered Safety and Health Practitioners.
“We are very aware that there is a demand for high quality health, safety and environmental training courses in the Gulf and that is why we have based our main offices for Turkey, the Middle East and across to India, here at Knowledge Village in Dubai,” Lea added.
In addition, Connaught Compliance Gulf Services will offer a range of environmental courses, specifically designed for Gulf clients, which cover issues such as potable water, soil erosion and local eco systems.
It will also offer some new courses covering Legionellosis, which will be of great interest to those who have the responsibility for health and safety for customers in the hotel trade.-TradeArabia News Service
