UAE Hyundai dealer launches digital showroom

DUBAI, December 21, 2014

Juma Al Majid Group, the sole distributor of Hyundai Motors in the UAE, has launched the first fully digitalised car showroom in the Middle East.

“Juma Al Majid Group has reinforced its commitment to the Hyundai brand by bringing future showrooms to the present to further our ambition to becoming the top tier automotive brand in the United Arab Emirates by customer choice,” said Khaled Issa, chief operating officer of Juma Al Majid Group.

“The Hyundai DigitalStudio was born in Juma Al Majid Group. Its customised software was developed by Juma Al Majid IT, its décor designed by Juma Al Majid Interiors and its technology by our consumer electronics partners Samsung Gulf. This is a truly successful Juma Al Majid Group project to be proud of,” added Issa.

The Hyundai DigitalStudio was launched to bring all the features of a car showroom into one small space and to cater for those who are increasingly expecting to browse products and services digitally.

Located in the Hyundai Deira Showroom, the facility enables customers to browse Hyundai cars conveniently, comparing models, colours, pricing and features. It also allows them to view finance deals and other special offers.

“Juma Al Majid Group is translating Hyundai’s global brand direction: ‘Live Brilliant’ by offering Hyundai customers in the UAE a fantastic showroom experience that reflects our brand essence,” said Tom Lee, vice president and head of Hyundai Africa & Middle East Regional Headquarters.

The DigitalStudio showcases Hyundai Motor company’s design philosophy of ‘fluidic sculpture,’ in addition to its latest audio, visual, technology and integration. It combines these new elements with a more personalised customer consultation, according to a statement.

“Juma Al Majid Group is the first automotive distributor in the region to come up with this technology, which will benefit Hyundai customers in the UAE. This concept goes in line with Hyundai Motor Company’s global direction,” said Axel Dreyer, president of Juma Al Majid Group – Hyundai Motors. “It reinforces that idea that Hyundai is not just a company that makes cars, it is a company that creates new possibilities.”

Juma Al Majid Group has based its new Hyundai virtual showroom on projections that large retail outlets for automotive brands will decrease in popularity as a reviewing facility for customers.

“The Hyundai DigitalStudio facilitates the entire 360 experience for reviewing Hyundai product offerings in one convenient space,” said Rabih Shararah, Hyundai DigitalStudio project leader.
