Workz joins World Cargo Alliance

DUBAI, February 3, 2015

Workz Cargo, an Iata licensed freight forwarder, has officially joined the World Cargo Alliance (WCA) allowing it to provide reliable, cost-efficient logistic solutions in a range of international markets.

Having successful qualified for WCA membership, Workz now has access to the largest network of independent freight forwarders with 5,580 plus members across 200 countries worldwide, a statement said.

Workz Group, the largest telecoms subscriber products and solutions provider in the Middle East and Africa transporting over 800 million products to market each year, expect to use WCA partnerships to drive expansion in new regions such as Eastern Europe, East Asia and Africa.

Workz Cargo, previously known as Workz Logistics, was acquired by Workz Media in 2014 and was rebranded.

Workz director Brad Taylor said: "I see this membership as giving our product distribution a big boost; firstly we hope to be able to offer existing customers an even more reliable, competitive logistics service and secondly, we hope this will give us greater reach in terms of being able to provide a competitive offering to markets who previously we may have not been able to offer an optimised freight forwarding component.  All in all, we’re proud to be a member of this reputed network and excited about how this will allow us to more effectively deliver what we believe is highly competitive product to a wider audience.” - TradeArabia News Service
