Oman's Raysut Cement Q2 profit dips 2.4pc

Oman's Raysut Cement reported a 2.4 per cent decrease in second-quarter net profit on Wednesday, according to Reuters calculations.
The largest cement firm by market value in the sultanate made RO4.82 million ($12.52 million) in the three months ending June 30, Reuters calculated based on previous financial statements in lieu of a quarterly breakdown.
This compared with RO4.94 million in the same period of 2015.
EFG Hermes forecast the company would make a quarterly net profit of RO5.58 million, while Gulf Baader Capital Markets forecast a net profit of RO6.53 million.
The company posted a first-half profit after tax of RO12.91 million, compared to RO10.96 million a year ago, it said in a statement to the Omani bourse.-Reuters
