Irony Home, a leading lifestyle store offering a collection of home accessories and interior décor, recently hosted a workshop on how colours can be used to enhance one’s well-being and home décor.

At the workshop ‘Colour Therapy for Homes’, held at Irony Home’s at The Dubai Mall, participants were briefed on how colours can be used to relieve people of stress and anxiety, and in some cases, even heal disease conditions.

“In association with Spadunya, who are the first to introduce this new and therapeutic concept of colour therapy in the region, our aim is to introduce people to the fact that our mental and physical well being is linked to the light and colours we are exposed to. By using the right combination of colours one is positively affected, and this is what we focused on for the session,” she added.

Irony Home is currently also showcasing a range of original pieces and lithographs by Austrian artist Robert Roubin, whose works includes eye-catching copper etchings and mixed technique on canvas.

A great value-addition of the store is the interior design consultants, who provide expert advice on interior decoration and also assist in planning décor for special occasions.

Irony Home also specialises in a designer range of accessories made of wrought iron, glass and wood. Heirlooms, made from these elements, are designed for children and can be carried forward over generations.
