The UAE's Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat) expects African investments to contribute no less than 25 per cent of group revenue in three to four years, its chairman said on Monday.

'I see within three to four years that revenue from Africa will not be less than 25 per cent,' Etisalat Chairman Mohammed Omran told reporters at a telecoms conference in Cairo.

'We expect to add an additional 4 million customers in one and a half years in west Africa,' he added.-Reuters
