Etisalat extends broadband promotion
Abu Dhabi

Etisalat has extended its bonanza for 3.5G mobile broadband customers until the end of next month.

User of the 10GB mobile broadband package can continue to enjoy a monthly 100GB data usage during this period at no additional cost, the UAE telecom company said.

The offer, launched in February, has been extended due to its great popularity, it said. The usage limit will revert to 10GB beyond the promotion period.

The package is available to both GSM Post Paid customers and Wasel customers.

This service is ideal for broadband users and professionals looking for high-speed data access package to maximise their productivity while on the move, Etisalat pointed out.

It recommends use of a Mobile Data USB modem to experience high-speed downstream access of up to 7.2 mbps, which is available in all Etisalat business centres and outlets for Dh850 ($231).

Customers can also use Etisalat’s 3.5G Router, which is an HSDPA 3G wireless gateway allowing up to 32 people to connect to the Internet (with a speed up to 7.2Mbps for download and 384kbps for uplink) simultaneously using a single SIM card through Wi-Fi technology. – Trade Arabia News Service
