Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), Saudi Arabia's second-largest mobile phone company by market value, reported a 47.4 per cent rise in second-quarter net profit, close to the top range of analysts' forecasts.
Mobily, an affiliate of Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etislalt), said net profit was SR448 million ($119.5 million) for the three months to June 30, compared with SR304 million in the year-earlier period.
Analysts' forecasts for Mobily's second-quarter profit ranged from SR345 million to SR486.4 million in a Reuters survey last month.-Reuters
