Eset, Bulwark ink distribution deal
Dubai, January 24, 2012
Eset Middle East, an industry leader in IT security, has signed an agreement with Bulwark Technologies, a leading distributor of IT security solutions, in a move to meet the demand for its security solution by SMBs and corporates.
Bulwark will market, sell and support Eset’s award-winning and technologically advanced anti-virus software Eset NOD32 antivirus and Eset smart security solutions through its reseller network across the countries of UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Yemen.
Eset NOD32 Antivirus 5 utilizes multiple layers of detection and unique cloud technology to block all potential threats, a statement said.
It has a very small footprint needing minimal resource utilization, taking up limited space on the user's computer and allowing for faster performance. It is user-friendly and also manages upgrades on its own, it added.
Aji Joseph, general manager, Eset Middle East said: “We chose Bulwark as it is well-positioned to serve the needs of end-users through its extensive reseller network and decade long expertise as value added distributor of IT security products."
“Eset has been seeing the increase in demand for best-of-breed security solutions by enterprises. And Bulwark already has an established customer base in the corporate and SME segment, which we would like to leverage through this synergy," he added.
“It is essential for Government entities and enterprises to have the most optimal ant-virus solution to protect their networks without any compromise to data security. By signing up with Eset, we are happy that we can provide the end-users with access to comprehensive and state of the art security solution to counter potential virus threats” said Jose Thomas, Managing Director of Bulwark technologies. – TradeArabia News Service
