Emaar Tech wins ISO certification

Emaar Technologies, a unit of top developer Emaar Properties, said it has been awarded with ISO/IEC20000-1:2005 certification for its IT service management system, underscoring its adherence to the IT industry best practices across all aspects of operations.

Emaar Technologies provides end-to-end ICT solutions & services to external organisations as well as the various business units of the Group.

A leading player in the data center & managed services, with vast experience in real estate, retail, hospitality, education, financial and healthcare solutions, Emaar Tech said the ISO/IEC certification is an endorsement that the services offered by Emaar Technologies are of the highest accepted global standards in the IT industry.

Issam Galadari, the CEO of Emaar Properties; Kenneth Foong, the CIO and Muzamil Abdulkarim, the general manager of Emaar Technologies received the certification from Basem Obaid, the MEA area manager of Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).

The ISO / IEC 20000-1:2005 is the first global standard that adopts a process approach for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining, and improving an organisation's IT Service Management System.
