Jumbo adopts Microsoft’s cloud with Office 365

DUBAI, December 30, 2014

Dubai-based Jumbo Electronics has turned to Microsoft Office 365 to improve communication and collaboration among employees and reduce costs.

Around 800 employees to-date have benefited from the unique offering of Office 365 which reduced communication barriers across the organisation, enhanced information sharing among the business units, transferred knowledge amongst employees and drive market agility, said a statement.

After exploring several options, Jumbo Electronics favored Microsoft Office 365 to offer the much needed solutions such as worry – free email supported by Microsoft from the cloud, large storage backup, unlimited archiving at low costs, SharePoint enabled intranet to be used across other business departments and Lync-based communication from PC to PC, driving easier communication
    
V Suresh, chief information officer, Jumbo Group, said: “With the rapid increase in data growth and employee headcount, Jumbo Group was seeking a robust, scalable communication, collaboration and information management platform to improve its operations effectively.
