Fujitsu EMEA unit appoints key officials

DUBAI, May 24, 2015

Fujitsu subsidiary PFU (EMEA) has strengthened its sales force in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) with two new management appointments for the Russian and Middle East markets.

Moscow-based partner manager Denis Milentjev will expand Fujitsu's document scanner business in Russia and the CIS region (Commonwealth of Independent States) by supporting and growing the ISV partner ecosystem, a statement said.

As partner manager for the Middle East and Turkey regions Dubai-based Tarek Akl will develop the partner network, it added.

"We see a great deal of opportunity in Russia and the Middle East and hiring Denis and Tarek is the latest step in our growth plan for the EMEA region," said Mike Nelson, vice president at Fujitsu subsidiary PFU (EMEA).

"Combined with our new sales presence in Spain, the new colleagues add breadth and depth to our local teams to help better support our partners and ISVs and grow our partner network."

Having worked for 13 years with a leading scanner specialist in Russia, Milentjev is an experienced professional with considerable experience of Document Management Solutions and a broad network in the reseller and ISV community.

Formerly territory manager for the Gulf region at a large IT company, Akl brings more than 13 years of experience in both software and hardware. This also includes working for a Fujitsu document scanner reseller and a regional ISV partner.

In his new role Akl will expand the reseller network and develop the ISV engagement and improve relations to key end-users. – TradeArabia News Service
