Software AG forum probes digital role in business

DUBAI, November 19, 2015

Software AG, a global leader in business processes, hosted its first Innovation Day in Dubai, UAE yesterday (November 18) focusing on the role of digital strategy in aspects of business including operating models and industry automation.

The event was the first of its kind in the Emirates, a statement said.

The Innovation Day’s topics included private and public sector solutions, the latest news on Software AG’s Digital Business Platform digital transformation, optimization processes, and how to leverage Big Data Streaming analytics.

Presentations were delivered by senior representatives from Royal Dirkzwager (‘Transforming Automatic Identification System (AIS) Data Into Information’), Saudi Telecom Company (STC)( ‘Digital Transformation in Telecoms’), Deloitte (‘Linking Architecture’), and Health Authority Abu Dhabi (‘The HAAD Enterprise Architecture Journey’).

Rami Kichli, vice president, Software AG, Gulf & Levant, said: “We are excited to be at the forefront of digitization in the region today and were able to share many critical insights. We highlighted how digitization is reshaping business as well as the public and private sectors.
