DUBAI, May 3, 2018

With the combined power of AI and blockchain, the UAE government stands to save Dh11 billion ($3 billion) in economic return and Dh389 million in government documents alone per year, said UAE’s Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence.

Omar bin Sultan Al Olama was delivering a keynote address on the UAE Blockchain Strategy 2021 at the ongoing Future Blockchain Summit in Dubai, UAE.

‘’Today, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and blockchain are two of the most powerful technologies that are revolutionizing the pace of innovation in the UAE. We believe that AI will be a strong ally for blockchain and will play a pivotal role in the UAE Blockchain Strategy 2021,” said Al Olama.

“It will help in the formation of the blockchain government, identify business process reengineering within organizations, enhance federal regulations and enable efficient monitoring of processes and systems.”

Taking place from May 2-3, at Dubai World Trade Centre, Future Blockchain Summit is set to welcome over 5,000 captains of industry and visionary technologists, as well as over 100 exhibitors, half of which are path-breaking local and international startups. – TradeArabia News Service
