Z Services, TitanHQ boost cybersecurity partnership

DUBAI, November 8, 2018

Z Services, an innovative cloud-based cybersecurity solutions provider in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region, and TitanHQ have expanded their existing OEM relationship to embed TitanHQ’s email archiving and web filtering technologies to Z Services’ ‘Merale’.

Ireland-based TitanHQ is a leading web filtering, email filtering, and email archiving security-as-a-service provider.

This follows the successful initial launch of Z Services Anti-Spam SaaS powered by TitanHQ’s Spam Filtering technology, said a statement from the company.

Merale, the SaaS-based, SME-focused offering from Z Services is specifically tailored to address the growing requirement of SMEs for strong Internet threat protection, enhanced business productivity, and compliance.

Z Services’ Merale SaaS brings SMEs (small and medium enterprises) compliance and the protection as a service.

On compliance, Merale SaaS features in-country cloud business emails archiving for years, email reporting, online business productivity polices, and reporting and audit as-a-service.

With protection-as-a-service, Merale SaaS includes in-country cloud Internet protection against malware, ransomware, phishing, viruses, botnets and other cyber threats, accessible as-a-service.

Mearle’s compliance and protection is offered across the Mena region as-a-service only from internet service provider (ISP), as fully rebranded, cost-effective, auto-provisioned, and powerful Internet protection and compliance service, it added.

Nidal Taha, president – Mena, Z Services, said: “The SME segment is often underserved when it comes to technology consumption models that suit their needs. With cybersecurity growing as a critical business concern across the region, there is a clear need to make security an operational rather than a capital expense.”

“Hence the paradigm shift in the delivery of effective security solutions from the traditional investment and delivery model to an agile SaaS model through the primary connectivity provider of SMEs – the ISPs,” he said.

“We believe that Merale will be a game-changer in how small and medium businesses in the region ensure their protection, and as a subscription-based service, it removes the need for heavy investments and long-term commitments,” he added.

Ronan Kavanagh, chief executive officer of TitanHQ, said: “We are delighted to continue our successful partnership with Z Services and share their vision for serving the SME segment with leading edge SaaS based security solutions.”

“With this development Z Services is strengthening its leadership position as an innovative cloud-based cybersecurity solutions provider in the Mena region,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
