MANAMA, August 6, 2019

Northstar Technologies, an AWS Consulting Partner, has welcomed the recent opening of AWS Middle East Region (Bahrain) with a strategic business plan to strengthen its support for Bahrain’s Information & eGovernment Authority’s (iGA) ‘Cloud First Policy’.

It will enable customers in the public sector as well as in the private sector to build their businesses on top of AWS platform.

Northstar Technologies is emerging as one of the leading providers of advanced technologies and other turnkey solutions for both public and private sectors to increase business agility and sustainable growth.

Commercial Director Roshan George seeing the full potential of AWS investment in Bahrain commented: “The goal of the ‘Cloud First Policy’ is to lower cost while delivering better service to Bahrain’s citizens; and AWS Middle East Region’s location in Bahrain accelerates these objectives and our commitment to delivering higher business value through a cloud first approach.

“Cloud computing is the foundation for the digital transformation of businesses that utilise servers, storage databases, networking, software and analytics. Working alongside AWS with the new “hyperscale infrastructure” – that is now easily accessible in the country – which promises easy and secured cloud migration for both public and private sectors, reducing business continuity related risks,” he said.

“Northstar Technologies is working towards creating awareness on the fundamental benefits of cloud adoption,” concluded George.
