CIO Knowledge Club in Bahrain held a meeting, discussed the best applications of artificial intelligence in the framework of the national plan for the transition towards digital economy in Bahrain.

 

Ahmed Al-Hujairi, The CEO Gulf Future Business "GFB" said that Bahrain has a great opportunity to take advantage from the applications of artificial intelligence in the fields of education, health, trade, industry and others, in public and private sector, using this technology to provide more quality and less expense services and products. This contributes to the acceleration of development rates.

 

AL-Hujairi pointed out in a presentation during the meeting the strides made by countries in the region by establishing an integrated system of artificial intelligence including colleges, institutes, business accelerators and incubators, laboratories, and others.

 

“Accelerating the benefit from artificial intelligence applications in Bahrain enhances the Kingdom's competitiveness regionally”. Al hujairi said. “Artificial intelligence is one of the main pillars in the current work to develop an integrated Bahraini national digital economy plan,” he added.

 

“ICT companies are the main responsible parties to bring and resettle modern technologies and present them to other businesses and are ready to take our responsibility in participation in the national plan for digital transformation in Bahrain,” Al-Hujairi confirmed.

 

Al-Hujairi also stressed the importance of training and qualifying Bahraini cadres in the field of artificial intelligence.
