Du to broadcast Holy Quran Award

DUBAI, May 25, 2017

UAE-based telecom provider Du will once again broadcast the 21st annual Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) to viewers across Mena and Europe.

Viewers will also have the opportunity to watch the Awards on du IPTV and duView, giving them the flexibility of watching the ceremony from a mobile or tablet, as well as their TV.

The DIHQA, sponsored by the Dubai government, is an annual award given to those who successfully memorize and recite the Holy Quran. The award was established to encourage the Muslim youth to spread the Quranic values of peace and love by inspiring them to read and understand the Holy Quran.

Du TV subscribers can watch the Dubai International Holy Quran Award channel for free on du’s IPTV dedicated channels 20 & 653 or on the go on du View channel 1. Du View is a free application for du TV subscribers which they can download from Apple App, Google Play, Xbox One Market Place or Samsung Smart Hub. Coverage will be live and continuously aired, starting from the first day of Ramadan and continuing until the last day of Eid. The live broadcast will be available on the following satellite frequencies; Nilesat (12418H), Arabsat Badr4 (12111H) and Hotbird (11747H).
