Saudi Arabia’s Al-Watania Poultry Company and Americana Group have tied up to develop local content in the poultry sector, and provide markets with fresh, high-quality and reliable products.

 

Al Watania Poultry is the largest poultry facility in the Middle East and one of the largest poultry companies in the world.

 

A strategic partnership agreement has been signed between the two companies in the presence of Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, an SPA report said.

 

The signing ceremony was also attended by Vice Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng Mansour Al-Mushaiti; CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) Dr Hisham bin Saad Al-Jadhey; Governor of the Saudi Grains Organisation (SAGO) Eng Ahmad Al-Fares; CEO of Al-Watania Poultry Dr Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi; Undersecretary of Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture for Agriculture Eng Ahmed Al-Ayada; and Deputy CEO of SFDA Dr Saleh Al-Dosari.-- TradeArabia News Service
