Maserati track day revs up Lusail circuit

Alfardan Sports Motors Company recently organized Maserati’s very first local track day at the Lusail International Circuit where a line-up of astonishing models squared the circles revving up Maserati’s glorious engines.

Alfardan Sports Motors Company, a member of Alfardan Group, is the exclusive importer of Modena’s pride, Maserati.

Maserati’s motoring day aims at reflecting the brand’s image, culture and legacy and accentuating the auto-maker’s celebrated capacity to produce exquisite, performance luxury models, said a statement from Alfardan.

Sitting for an overview of road and driving safety, the attendees were then taken for a tour in the luxuriously crafted cabin of their favorite brand upping its performance with racing and handling techniques.

They also experienced first-hand the full potential of a Maserati with its properietary high tech specs such as the ZF gearbox and other features of the Maserati GranTurismo S with electro-actuated gearbox, Quattroporte Sport GTS, GranTurismo S Automatic and Quattroporte S (with automatic transmission), said Mohammed Kandeel, general manager of Alfardan Sports Motors Company.

“Maserati’s history involves more than its glorious sporting achievements and the launch of great road cars. Behind the name lies a pool of values and principles that Maserati strictly adheres to," he remarked.

“Maserati is a marque that began life in a local context and strongly grew to become a major international player, with representation in 59 countries. With this track day, one can dive into Maserati’s enthralling history and get to know the people, achievements and cars which have made the marque famous.” Kandeel added.

Alfardan Sports Motors Company, the official said, is now gearing up to launch Maserati’s first four-seater convertible to be produced at Viale Ciro Menotti, the Maserati GranCabrio.-TradeArabia News Service
