Manama, September 19, 2012
Bahrain-based Al Haddad Motors, the sole distributors of Mercedes-Benz in the kingdom, has unveiled the new C 63 AMG coupé, a stand-alone, high-performance car.
The car appeals to all the senses - unmistakable design is teamed up with a high-performance drive system and dynamic handling, a statement from the company said. The new coupé rounds off the successful C-Class AMG model range.
Mark Price, sales marketing manager of Al Haddad Motors, said: “The AMG 6.3-litre V8 engine in the C 63 Coupé has a maximum output of 457 hp and peak torque of 600 Nm, delivering powerful traction and first-class performance figures: the coupé accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and the top speed is 250 km/h making it one of the fastest coupes in the world.”
“The AMG sports dual twin exhaust system not only gives it that sporty look but also gives the Coupe a boost in the driving.”
“This reminds me of Formula 1 when the camera rolls from the rear end of the vehicle and the cars take off in a slow motion and you can see the camera slowing rolling upwards showcasing the complete rear package of car not forgetting the smoke effects,” said Graeme Newport, the general manager of Al Haddad Motors.
The outer rear view mirrors (ORVM) comes in fibre easily folded with a click of a button. Right under the ORVM is the official tag that makes the car different than other “6.3 Litre AMG badge on both sides of the coupe.
The car has two tone red and black AMG performance seating.
The other added on components on to the C 63 AMG coupé are the carbon fibre trim and the Harmon Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system with 450 watts. Completing the entertainment package is the Command online which includes 10 GB hardisk navigation, accessible for DVD, Mp3 and audio CDs and a media interface with USB, Aux, SD card, Bluetooth for media and mobiles. Through Command online, the user can also surf the internet. – TradeArabia News Service
