Rolls-Royce posts 22pc growth in Bahrain

Manama, February 4, 2014

Euro Motors, the sole dealer of Rolls Royce Motor Cars in Bahrain, has announced 22 per cent growth in its sales in 2013, highlighting the increasing strength of the ultra-luxury car market in the Kingdom.

“Rolls-Royce is respected and renowned for offering the ultimate in luxury, comfort and innovative design, making the brand a benchmark for the whole luxury industry,” said Paul Yates, general manager of Euro Motors.

“However, our success here in Bahrain is not only measured by growth in sales, but also the ability to offer our customers a one-of-a-kind ownership experience.”

Contributing to Euro Motor’s solid performance was the recently-launched Rolls Royce Wraith as well as 250 per cent growth in the sales of Phantom Series II, Rolls-Royce's flagship model.

The Phantom Series II family - including Phantom Saloon, Phantom Extended Wheelbase, Phantom Drophead Coupé and Phantom Coupé – continue to be a strong driving force behind the company’s sales achievements, said Yates.

“The Phantom has been created with the desire to build the best car in the world, and such it is a vehicle designed without compromise - the result of complete creative and engineering freedom,” he added.

“When you combine this compelling charisma with the ability to customise it through our Bespoke programme, you have the ultimate in automotive excellence, a modern interpretation of the luxury motor car, which is the choice of transport for Bahrain’s elite."

On a regional level, a 17 per cent year-on-year growth was recorded in the Middle East markets, making it the best performing region for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars worldwide in terms of growth for the second consecutive year. Globally, 3,630 cars were sold during the year, which represents the best sales result in the company’s history. – TradeArabia News Service
