Eastern Industrial and Oilfields Services (EIOS) Holding, took part in the 13th Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) that was held this month in Abu Dhabi and won an award at its debut show.

EIOS Holding is a Bahrain-based closed shareholding company that was established earlier this year.

The company’s principle activities are provision of consultancy, maintenance, engineering solutions and services to a wide range of indutries including the oil and gas, petrochemical, aluminum, power generation and utilities sectors.

In addition, EIOS Holding also imports and distributes mechanical, electrical and instrument equipment, parts and various types of functional products.

Though it was EIOS Holding’s debut show, it managed to impress many international and regional visitors from the oil, gas and energy sectors who visited the company stand.

The EIOS team explained to the visitors about the company's various services and also highlighted its achievements through its subsidiaries and forward looking plans.

EIOS Holding later won the 'Best stand' award from World Media, which evaluated all the participating stands at the exhibition on the basis of creativity and uniqueness.

EIOS Holding chief executive officer, Majdi Khalaf, said, 'We are proud to receive this award at our first participation in this exhibition.'

'EIOS Holding is the first of its kind in Bahrain and the region, to cater to the energy sector relying on a team of local experts with a solid experience in the sector.'

'The exhibition gave us an opportunity to show case our services and engage with other players in the field to best serve our clients,' he added.-TradeArabia News Service
