Dubai property company Deyaar said police investigation into alleged financial irregularities by some of its employees will have no effect on profit because the wrongdoing happened in the past.

The investigation "will have no impact on the future profitability of the company since the incidents in question occured in the past and had already been reflected in the company's historicial financial disclosures," Deyaar said in a statement on the Dubai bourse website on Thursday.

It gave no details about the investigation. - Reuters
