South Korea's Samsung Corporation has been appointed as the main contractor for the 600-metre-plus tower on the Dh350 billion ($95.29 billion) Jumeirah Gardens development in Dubai, planned by the local Meraas Development, said a report.

The mixed-use, freehold and leasehold development will be an integrated city within a city, with distinct neighbourhoods linked by a diverse network of transportation options, and comprising low-, medium- and high-density areas with business, residential, retail, leisure and recreational components, Meed reported.
