Liverpool Football Club Captain Steven Gerrard MBE has given his seal of approval to his signature tower - 'the Azizi Crystal' which will come up at Palm Jebel Ali.

Gerrard last night joined forces with ‘Team Azizi’ at a VIP launch event for the Dubai-based developer Azizi Investments in London’s Dorchester Hotel.

The launch party was attended by a host of VIP investors as well as guest speakers from CNN and Bloomberg.

Within minutes of launch, the developer netted sales of more than Dh150 million – dramatically bucking overall market trends and indicating continued interest in the Dubai market both regionally and internationally.

Speaking about the development, Gerrard said: “I am truly privileged to be part of such a pioneering and prestigious project on Palm Jebel Ali. Designed to the highest specifications in terms of architectural and environmental standards, the Azizi Crystal will be located on Crescent A, Palm Jebel Ali.

The high-rise podium tower development comprises G+21 floors and will include luxurious, high-end oceanfront residential apartments ranging form one to four bedrooms, as well as luxury penthouse units.
