3D home cinema experience from Epson
Dubai, February 11, 2014
Epson has announced the Middle East launch of three new top-of-the-range 3D home cinema projectors with a high-end cinematic technology for movie lovers to enjoy big-screen experiences on a budget.
With almost twice the contrast ratio of previous models and new Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) connectivity for smartphone and tablet users, this range also includes Frame Interpolation in both 2D and 3D, said a statement.
The range features the EH-TW9200W, a wireless Full HD model that allows users to connect their Full HD devices to the projector, without having to install them in the same room. The EH-TW9200 is available as a non-wireless version. On the other hand, the EH-TW7200 offers high-end features such as a wide lens shift and very high contrast ratio, but with a much lower price tag.
All three models are ideal for watching the latest blockbusters with even dark, shadowy scenes, because of a high contrast ratio, which ensures deeper, crisper blacks. The EH-TW9200W and EH-TW9200 both feature a very high contrast ratio of 600,000:1, while the EH-TW7200 is a very respectable 120,000:1, it said.
The EH-TW9200W is also one of Epson’s first home cinema projectors to allow users to play content directly from their smartphone or tablet, including photos, videos and music, via the MHL port.
Khalil El-Dalu, general manager, Epson Middle East, said: “As the number one projector manufacturer across the globe for over a decade, we are always pushing our technology further. Our latest contribution to home users in the Middle East will enable them to have the best possible movie experience. On top of that, all three of our projectors are compatible with USB-rechargeable, Radio Frequency (RF) active shutter 3D glasses, included and sold separately. With their RF connectivity, these lightweight glasses can be used up to 10 metres from the projector and offer fantastic, immersive 3D entertainment.” – TradeArabia News Service
