Kempinski Dead Sea launches Anantara Spa
Dead Sea, Amman

Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea will join the elite league of iconic international spa resorts in June with the launch of the 10,000sqm Anantara Spa, one of the largest holistic complexes in the Middle East.

Spa trekkers and connoisseurs of exquisite relaxation and pampering will now have another reason to visit the stunning Babylonian-inspired resort, which sits on the world’s largest natural spa, the Dead Sea.

The hotel is keen to get the message out to industry partners and travel trade at this year’s Arabian Travel Market, where it will be promoting the new spa alongside its other superlative offerings for leisure, business and adventure travelers.

“The much anticipated opening of our Anantara Spa will see the hotel attain greater status as the premium relaxation and rejuvenation venue in the region.  Spa’s are now an essential part of any five star resort operation and given the magnificent natural location and properties of the Dead Sea, we felt it was imperative to pay homage to this amazing resource with a truly outstanding holistic hideaway,” said general manager, Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea, Duncan O’Rourke.

The Anantara Spa at Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea will draw guests into a cosmic experience themed on astronomy, with bespoke treatments and décor echoing the wonders of the universe.

An exercise in serenity, the beautifully designed spa will have twenty treatment rooms indoors, as well as several breathtaking outdoor therapy lounges, overlooking the calm waters of the Dead Sea.

Devotees of more spiritual pursuits and exercise will find a spacious studio specifically for learning and practicing Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates and meditation under the guidance of expert instructors. In addition to the exciting features and facilities, the spa will also contain a full-fledged tennis club, which is accessible to all hotel guests.

Taking the holistic destination to even greater heights, twenty-eight single-level and duplex spa suites provide a luxurious accommodation experience for guests, perfect for short and long stay spa holidays.

The Dead Sea is the perfect environment for the spa; Ozone-rich air, mineral loaded sea water and muds will enhance the quintessentially luxurious treatments of Anantara, which will bring together century old therapies from across the globe, all performed by highly trained therapists. Anantara elixirs and oils use the finest and freshest indigenous ingredients; all are nutrient-rich and luxuriously aromatic.

Using traditional beauty essences such as sandalwood, ylang-ylang, patchouli, mandarin, lavender, lemongrass, ginger, cinnamon, bergamot and natural ingredients such as Thai coffee beans, natural volcanic pumice, sweet woods, powdered spices, yoghurt, carrots and cucumbers, the treatments are designed to deliver radiance, relaxation and a sense of complete well-being. – TradeArabia News Service
