Hard Rock Hotels has planned to launch its second hotel in the UAE, Hard Rock Hotel Abu Dhabi, along with the Tasameem Group, a report said.

The two companies announced that they will open a Hard Rock Hotel in Dubai, late last year, according to the Gulf News report.

'With the announcement of the Hard Rock Hotel Abu Dhabi, we are reinforcing our global development trajectory and adding to our international leisure portfolio,' said Hamish Dodds, president and CEO of Hard Rock International.

'The focus is a five-star luxury hotel brand that adds personality to its properties through music, entertainment and superior customer service,' he said.

The new tower hotel will come up on the Al Meena Road, which is now being redeveloped as a premier destination for shopping, entertainment, leisure and hospitality in Abu Dhabi.
