Empire Aviation boosts business jet fleet

DUBAI, December 6, 2014

Dubai-based Empire Aviation Group (EAG) said it has added a seventh business jet to the company’s managed fleet in Nigeria, Africa.

The company said Dubai was proving to be the perfect platform to build its growing global fleet of managed business jets.

The Bombardier Global Express XRS was acquired in Europe by EAG on behalf of private owner, bringing the total EAG managed fleet to 27 business jets, based across the UAE, Oman, India and Africa.

The Global Express XRS is an ultra-long business jet offering high levels of performance and comfort, including a light and spacious cabin with low pressure, full galley and crew area, large storage capacity and the capability of flying non-stop for up to 12 hours at high speed, said a statement from EAG.

In addition to its long range and high speed, the aircraft performance includes long range, high speed, the Global Express has exceptional take-off capabilities at high altitude and high temperatures, and incorporates fast refueling technology.

Commenting on the fleet, EAG executive director Paras Dhamecha, said: "EAG is increasingly building out the aircraft management business from the UAE base, from where we can access the global business jet market for customers anywhere in the world, and remotely manage aircraft within and beyond the Middle East."

"We see attractive growth opportunities in regions such as Africa, India and further East," stated Dhamecha.

"In india, we are replicating our full service approach whilst in Africa, we are focusing on aircraft management in this fast growing region. Dubai and the UAE provide the perfect regional and international hub from which to manage our increasingly global private aviation operations," he added.

EAG continues to build its global business jet fleet from its Dubai headquarters, where the company was formed in 2007.
Today, the group manages aircraft on behalf of owners in four countries and three continents. In addition, it has a dedicated aircraft sales office in the US, creating access to the world’s largest business jet market.-TradeArabia News Service
