Ramada Downtown Dubai names new training manager

DUBAI, August 17, 2015

Ramada Downtown Dubai, a leading luxury hotel in the UAE emirate, has welcomed Rohitashva Ghai as its new Training and Quality Assurance manager.

A key position in the property, he is tasked to design and carry out suitable training and development courses for the associates, to maximise their skills, tap potentials in their respective roles and identify their career growth.

He will also head the orientation sessions for new joiners, and keep track of training trends and best practices in the field. As Quality Assurance manager, he has to ensure that Ramada brand standards and guidelines are adhered to in all collaterals and throughout hotel operations.

Ghai acquired his extensive experience from India, having worked in aviation and hotel industries for nine years before moving to Dubai. He started his career as a flight attendant in Jet Airways. After three and a half years, he joined the hotel sector and worked for Sun-n-Sand Nagpur and Hyatt Regency Pune. He later moved to Marriott International and served training positions in various hotels including JW Marriott Chandigarh, Courtyard by Marriott Bilaspur, and Courtyard by Marriot Agra. He was named Best Trainer of Year in 2014 by Marriott India.
