Dubai to house new world's tallest hotel

DUBAI, January 8, 2018

A new hotel opening in Dubai will soon claim the title of 'World's Tallest Hotel', a report said.

Gevora Hotel, a 528-key hotel set to open on Sheikh Zayed Road in the first quarter of the year, will stand 356 metres high, knocking out current record holder, Business Bay’s JW Marriott Marquis, by just one metre, said a report in Time Out Dubai.

Gevora Hotel's smallest deluxe room reportedly spans 46-sq-m, with its largest two-bedroom suite spanning 85-sq-m. The hotel will also feature four restaurants, in addition to swimming pools for adults and children, a Jacuzzi facility, a health club, a luxury spa, and gymnasiums, the report said.

The new hotel will be a dry facility and promises to “boast the best of Middle Eastern hospitality and exclusivity”.
