CH2M Hill wins $25.7m US army contract
Kuwait:

CH2M Hill Contractors, a full-service engineering, procurement, construction, and operations firm based in Virginia (US), has won a $25.7 million firm-fixed-price contract to build a communications facility at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait.

Camp Arifjan is a US Army base located south of Kuwait City that accommodates elements of the US Air Force, US Navy, US Marine Corps and US Coast Guard, as well as a number of US Army National Guard units.

Military personnel from the UK, Australia, Romania and Poland are also forward deployed there.

Camp Arifjan is used as a forward logistics base, Aviation Classification and Repair Activity Depot (Task Force AVCRAD), helicopter ground support base, and as a motor pool for armored and unarmored vehicles.

CH2M Hill said it expected to complete the work by the end of November in 2011.-TradeArabia News Service
