Dubai Knowledge Village (DKV), the region’s premier destination for human resources management and a member of Tecom Investments, will be the strategic partner for the sixth Middle East HR Summit, an IIR Middle East event.
Dr Ayoub Kazim, executive director, Dubai Knowledge Village, will be a keynote speaker at the event which is being held from November 8 to 12 at the Dubai Knowledge Village Convention Centre.
“The summit will offer insights and practical recommendations identifying key trends in Human Resources Management and Human Resources Development that will further help develop the regional talent pool,” said Dr Kazim.
As more HR managers expect a substantial reduction in their budgets, financial restraints have increasingly become a major concern among the Middle East’s HR professionals. The issue will be covered under the topic ‘Reward in Recessionary Times’ during a two-day stream.
HR is now seen by more than 50 per cent of management as an integral driver of business and the sixth Middle East HR Summit will also explore effective strategies for linking HR to business strategy, including 'Using Innovation as a Strategic Tool in Recessionary Times'.
The increasingly important topic of nationalisation will be explored during the ‘Nationalisation Spotlight’ on Day Two of the Summit, as well as in the Master Class on ‘Planning Your Nationalisation Strategy’ by Kamal Hassan, president and CEO of Innovation 360 Institute.
“Inspirational, practical and focused, the week-long Middle East HR Summit’s extensive programme will help HR professionals meet today’s challenges. Topical keynote addresses, clinics and case studies will feature more than 50 HR directors and experts speaking on international and regional issues,” added Mbali Dlamini, conference director, IIR Middle East.-TradeArabia News Service
