RPS opens new office in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, August 4, 2010

RPS, a UK-based global property and infrastructure consultancy, has established a new office in Abu Dhabi.

RPS aims to develop a comprehensive technical and strategic consulting resource in the Middle East, complementing its major offices in Europe, Australia/Asia Pacific and the Americas, a statement said.

RPS Energy, the energy division of RPS, is working closely with its sister division, RPS Planning & Development, which already has an Abu Dhabi- based team working on new infrastructure projects, including the Almarkaz project, which combines local expertise and knowledge with a range of skills developed internationally over many years, it added.

“We have always worked throughout the Middle East providing expertise to support a wide range of projects associated with the exploration for, and development of, oil and gas assets and more recently the development of infrastructure,” said Graeme Simpson, head of RPS Energy.

“We see the region as a crucial part of our world-wide representation, both from the perspective of winning new projects and for developing our resource base,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
