A concession agreement to design, construct, manage, operate and maintain a multi-purpose terminal at East Port Said Port has been approved by the Egyptian Cabinet, a report said.
The build-operate-transfer (BOT) agreement will see the allocation of a 900-m quay and 330,000-sq m land for the unnamed company, Mubasher said quoting a statement.
The terminal will be designed to handle all types of cargo, the statement added.
