A Saudi government source stated that the issue of income tax had not previously been discussed in the cabinet or any of the governmental councils or committees, said a Saudi Press Agency report.
The source was commenting on what was reported by one of the international news agencies, quoting Saudi Arabia's Minister of Finance regarding the study of the application of income tax.
The source also confirmed that this issue is fundamentally not for discussion, SPA said.
