Bahraini students continued to present their innovative projects and technological solutions for the second consecutive day at Gitex Global 2025, which runs until Friday (October 17).
Their participation comes as part of the third edition of the “Tech Innovators” initiative, which aims to empower talented Bahraini youth from various universities across the Kingdom to participate in this prominent global exhibition.
The initiative is supported by GFH Financial Group, CrediMax, BMMI, and Khaleeji Bank, and takes place within the International Business Hub, organized by the Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) in cooperation with WorkSmart Events Management Company.
Throughout the exhibition, the students showcased their projects in the ICT sector to the audience of this leading international event and to visitors of the International Business Hub.
Their presentations reflected a range of modern technological innovations that demonstrated the creativity, research excellence, and scientific capabilities of Bahraini youth. These projects underscored the potential of national talent to keep pace with global advancements in digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
The second day of the exhibition also featured the students’ visit to Dubai Port, where they took part in a series of interactive programs and activities hosted under the Youth X platform.
This platform aims to prepare, empower, and enhance the capabilities of young entrepreneurs in innovation and technology.
The students participated in the “Talent Fusion” event, which focused on improving communication skills and fostering the development of creative teams. They also took part in an engaging tour of Expand North Star, which focused on technology startups and provided an opportunity to connect with international investors and explore global innovation ecosystems.
Rashed Abdulla Alsnan, the Chairman of BTECH, commended the outstanding participation of Bahraini students at Gitex Global 2025 and praised the innovative ideas and projects they presented throughout the event, and described their achievements as a testament to Bahrain’s successful investment in technology education and training, reflecting the kingdom’s continuous commitment to developing national talent and advancing the knowledge economy.
Lauding the Bahraini youth, Alsnan said: "This participation embodies the kingdom’s vision to nurture and empower young talent, and through "Tech Innovators" , the Society aims to strengthen the presence of Bahraini talents on international platforms, providing students with real-world exposure in a globally competitive environment that prepares them to establish their own projects and startups in the future."
Ahmed Al Hujairy, Chief Executive Officer of WorkSmart, said this experience represents a valuable opportunity for Bahraini students to directly engage with global markets and explore the latest tech trends, as such exposure will help enhance their future aspirations to establish their own ventures.
