SalamAir, Oman’s Low-Cost Carrier, announced the renewal of its third IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA), reaffirming the airline’s unwavering commitment to the highest global standards of aviation safety, operational integrity, and compliance.
SalamAir first obtained IOSA registration in
2021 and has since consistently met the stringent requirements of the biennial
audit, underscoring its sustained focus on safety excellence and continuous
operational improvement.
Notably, this
renewal represents SalamAir’s first registration under IATA’s
enhanced Risk-Based IOSA approach, further reinforcing the airline’s proactive
and data-informed commitment to safety.
The IOSA renewal
follows a comprehensive audit conducted by independent experts accredited by
the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
The assessment covered
all critical areas of the airline’s operations, including flight
operations, aircraft maintenance, safety systems, security
management, crew training, and organisational control.
Adrian Hamilton-Manns,
Chief Executive Officer of SalamAir, stated: “The third renewal of our
IOSA registration is a testament to the dedication and professionalism of our
entire team. The renewal of our IOSA registration is a reflection of our
airline’s safety-first culture and our continuous drive to strengthen
operational excellence. The registration
reinforces SalamAir’s position as a trusted carrier that places the
safety of our guests and crew at the forefront of every decision we
make.” -TradeArabia News Service
