As Principal Partner of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026, the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy (DoE) will showcase projects aligned with its Strategic Framework 2050 that demonstrate an integrated approach to improving efficiency, resilience, and sustainability across the energy and water sector. 

From  January 11–15, 2026 at Stand A210, DoE will highlight initiatives embedding artificial intelligence, smart infrastructure, digital platforms, and system-wide planning to deliver measurable sustainability outcomes.

Key showcases include AD.WE, the region’s first integrated AI-powered energy and water management platform, and Mayed, an AI-enabled smart assistant supporting efficient stakeholder engagement. 

The portfolio also features smart metering projects such as Al Wathba Smart Meters and groundwater well monitoring systems, demand response initiatives, Solar Model Farms, and Al Mabrooka Model Date Palm Farms, all aimed at improving resource efficiency and sustainable agriculture.

DoE will additionally present its Integrated Water Strategy, focused on enhancing water security through diversified sources, improved efficiency, smart technologies, and digital solutions to strengthen sector resilience and long-term sustainability. -TradeArabia News Service
