Al Arabia lands Saudi Cluster 2 Airports digital billboard contracts

Arabian Contracting Services Company (Al Arabia) has announced that it has won the bid from Cluster 2 Airports Company for the advertising opportunity at key airports across Saudi Arabia for a duration of 10 years.

Announcing the big win, Al Arabia said work includes the establishment, operation and maintenance of all types of advertising billboards with the latest technology, such as digital interactive and iconic digital screen structures, in all terminals and locations within the boundaries of 18 airports in Saudi Arabia.

These are - Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz International Airport (Qassim); Dawadmi Airport; Wadi Al Dawasir Airport; Taif International Airport; Prince AbdulMohsin bin Abdulaziz Airport (Yanbu); King Saud bin Abdulaziz Airport (Al Bahah); AlUla International Airport; Al Jouf Airport; Gurayat Airport; Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Airport (Tabuk); Hail International Airport; Rafha Airport; Arar Airport; Sharurah Airport; Bisha Airport; King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Airport (Jazan); Najran Regional Airport and Turaif Airport.

The Cluster 2 Airports contract win is a significant step towards expanding its advertising network across key national assets, stated Arabian Contracting Services Company in its filing to Saudi bourse Tadawul.

It comes close on the heels of a similar contract win with the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) for the establishment, operation and maintenance of outdoor advertising billboards in AlUla, it stated.

Al Arabia had snapped up the Al Ula order in October last year under which it will make major investment in specific sites in the ancient Saudi city across various advertising platforms.

The project includes all forms of outdoor advertising within AlUla's geographical boundaries for 10 years, exclusively, based on a revenue-sharing model, in addition to a capex contribution per billboard.

This also builds on the company’s recent progress following the signing of the King Khalid International Airport contract, winning a bid for advertising opportunity at the Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Airport reflecting its partners’ confidence in Al Arabia’s operational capabilities and further enhancing the integration of its advertising network across the kingdom, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
